The Generac Whole House air cooled generator - has 4 oval holes in the base to allow the installer to relocate the generator by inserting rods thru the hole, this allows them to relocate it without a forklift, These holes allow chipmunks ants, cockroaches,  snakes, mice rats, wasps, bees, lizards, rain, snow, mulch, gophers or whatever decides to get in the holes, some animals eat the wires and some use it as a bathroom which may cause problems for you in the future,
